Lauri Lumby Schmidt

is married and the mother of two.  In 1987, she earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Iowa, majoring in Marketing.  After five years in the corporate world,  Lauri discovered the call to active ministry and began her work in Pastoral Ministry at the Newman Center Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh.  Lauri completed the Lay Ministry Formation Program through the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay and  went on to pursue study in Spiritual Direction through the Norbertine Center for Spirituality in DePere.  While completing her training as a Spiritual Director,  Lauri began her Reiki Practitioner training with Master Teacher, Maureen Conroy, RSM; and completed the Reiki Master training in the summer of 2005 under Master Teacher, Donna Koch, OSF.  

Lauri has journeyed with hundreds of men and women on their spiritual journeys.  She has created and facilitates several programs in spirituality and self-awareness including the Authentic Freedom programs,  SpiritDance and the Christouch System of Natural Healing.  In addition, Lauri teaches meditation and prayer practices and speaks on such topics as grief, wellness and spiritual empowerment.
